“Rockin The Canyon,” a three-day music festival, will take place June 4-6, 2021 at Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park in Hinton, Oklahoma. The event will support Oklahoma musicians and artists who have been impacted in 2020 by cancelled engagements and events. The 310-acre park features 55 RV sites and over 60 campsites for this special relief effort supporting the arts.
The festival will feature approximately 20 performances including classic rock, hip-hop, country, country rock, red dirt, jazz and blues, as well as some comic relief! The lineup of musicians includes Adam Aguilar, Hunter Thomas, Panhandle Dirt, Born in November, Curt Hill, Black Water Bridge, Jared Deck, Olivia Kay, Brian Gorrell & Jazz Company and Jeremy Thomas to name a few.
Also appearing in support of Oklahoma musicians, Los Angeles based jazz & hip-hop violinist Lucine Fyelon and from Kilgore, Texas, award winning 21-year-old blues rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter Ally Venable.
The festival will also support and showcase Oklahoma artists. Artists selected to participate in the festival will keep 100% of their sales. The festival will also support and feature local food trucks who have been impacted by cancelled events the past six months. Organizers suggest over the shoulder, easy carry folding chairs and blankets for the festival.
Covid health and safety protocols will be observed during the festival including thermo-temperature checks, facemask requirements, social distancing, and hand sanitizer stations. Weekend RV guests and campsite guests will be asked to wear facemasks or face coverings when they leave their designated areas to join larger gatherings.
